On October 5-6, 2012, Mr. Jan Salava of AdSTM and Mr. Grigol Basilia of Georgia, visited the Armenian Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center (N&RSC) for discussions on implementation of nuclear material accounting database NUCMAT in non-nuclear countries with limited amount of nuclear material in locations outside facilities (LoFs). Tests performed in Georgia and detailed discussions during the visit demonstrate that NUCMAT is a good tool for this purpose but the interfaces need improvement to become more user-friendly. An updated version is expected by December 2012.
