Under the RSRP program, meetings were conducted between AdSTM and the Dominican Republic Regulatory Authority (RA) in Radiation Protection at the National Energy Commission, from January 15th-16th. The two main objectives were to:
- Define RSRP support in order to continue with the national radiation sources inventory
- Discuss the Radiation Protection situation in the country. This information will be useful to explore other ways to continue strengthening the Dominican RA under the RSRP support.
Discussions allowed for a number of activities to be identified as potential candidates to improve the work performed by the Dominican RA. Representing AdSTM, was Mario Rodriguez.
