The US NRC Radiation Source Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) delivered a virtual training seminar on “Linear Accelerators Inspections” for regulatory staff from Former Soviet Union and Middle East countries and ANNuR members. The virtual seminar was conducted in a 2 hours session on February 23-24, 2021. The seminar focused on Performance Based Inspections and provided an overview of how Linear Accelerator inspections are conducted at the USA, based on the clinical workflow. A review of checklists and inspections documentation was also presented. Thirty-five (35) regulatory staff from Georgia, Armenia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Bahrain attended the activity.
