On June 3, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Radiation Sources Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) program met on-line with the Group of Nuclear Affairs and Non-Conventional Energies of Ministry of Energy and Mines in Colombia. The discussions focused on ongoing regulatory work in Colombia and possible support from the RSRP. Several topics of interest from regulatory development to capacity building were identified as potential areas for collaboration. Adapting to travel limitations imposed by COVID-19, the RSRP is now conducting various activities via virtual sessions via ZOOM, Skype and other means.
