The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Radiation Source Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) delivered a workshop on Regulatory Licensing for Uranium Recovery Facilities for staff and managers of the Senegal Authority for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety (ARSN). The weeklong workshop from January 13-17, 2025, included multiple presentations and discussions on all regulatory aspects of uranium milling and uranium mill tailings management. The workshop was also attended by representatives from the Senegal Ministry of Mining.
