On January 19, 2021, the US NRC Radiation Source Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) and the International Regulatory Development Partnership (IRDP) conducted a virtual meeting with the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) to discuss KNRA plans and identify areas for future collaboration. KNRA staff, the US NRC, and AdSTM representatives attended the meeting. The meeting resulted in important discussions on KNRA's vision for future bilateral collaboration, which includes radiation source inventory, staff training and capacity building, regulatory development, and development of incident response capability.
