During August 5-6, 2019, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) Radiation Sources Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) visited Uruguay to upgrade the Advanced Regulatory Information System (ARIS) to its latest version ARIS 3.5 at the Autoridad Reguladora Nacional en Radioproteccion (ARNR). RSRP provided training for the upgrade that contains a newly developed module (OCCUDOSE) to manage occupational exposure information. Uruguay will play an important role in testing the new module and providing feedback to further improve the software.
